In 1924, a band of occult investigators attempted to stop the summoning of an ancient and monstrous evil.
They failed.
Now, a decade later, you must piece together what went wrong and pick up the trail.
Investigate ancient crypts, abandoned estates, and festering slums. Explore choked jungles and the crushed psyches of your predecessors. Follow in their footsteps and make new ones of your own. This time, there won’t be another chance.
The world is yours to save, or to lose.
It falls to you...

Rivaling epic Call of Cthulhu campaigns such as Masks of Nyarlathotep, Horror on the Orient Express, and Beyond the Mountains of Madness - Eternal Lies is a a dark tale of mystery and peril that may cost the Investigators their sanity, or their lives.
A wealthy benefactor — Janet Winston-Rogers, daughter of entrepreneur and armchair occultist Walter Winston — confronted with a family mystery reaches out, requesting assistance in its investigation.
"Something happened in August of 1924. Something that sent my father back to us rattled and unraveling. He wasn’t well. He stopped traveling, burned his books, and hardly ate. He jumped at shadows, and insisted he was being watched. He was never the same. He forbade us from asking about his travels and when mother died, in ‘32, he hardly grieved. He became more paranoid and frustrated, until he finally passed away earlier this year, as a shadow of himself. Then I found the letters."

The mysteries of Eternal Lies stretch across the globe. The tale involves two generations of intrepid Investigators vying with terrible ambition and petty human desires, where evils abound and the cost of battling them may be too high to bear. A grim and sordid saga spanning more than a decade of human vice with escalating stakes, culminating in a chance to save their world from wicked and deceitful forces.
Originally published for use with the Trail of Cthulhu (Gumshoe) rule system, for this particular campaign we will be using the Call of Cthulhu 7th edition rule system. Players are encouraged to create their own custom Investigators to face the dangers ahead, but a wide selection of ready-to-play Investigators are also available for selection.
The Henslowe Journal
Making use of detailed digital props such as photographs, journals, letters, audio recordings, and even Mythos tomes, investigators will discover the true nature of the evil they face and decipher clues to reveal the ultimate plot to end the world.
Eternal Lies is a long and complicated sandbox campaign. Investigators won't be funneled from one scene to the next, but instead will be given the agency needed to decide when and where their investigation will take them next.
Our expectation is the campaign will entail over 1 year of gaming time, with a schedule of gathering every other week.
